Whos the best 2011 players in NY
As the pre-season tournaments comes to a close, the NYCHoops.net Top 10 Players of 2011 selection fast approaches.
So far, in our people polls conducted on our message boards, opinions with regard of who is the best 2011 player at different positions are beginning to form. Here are the poll results so far.

With regard to who is the best point guard of the 2011 class, Mt. Vernon's Jabarie Hinds is far out in front with Tavon Sledge and Corey Edwards coming in a distant second.
The poll for the best shooting guard is a tight race between Jermaine Sanders and Mike Taylor with Achraf Yacoubou trailing slightly.
Who is the best small forward? The people say that at the moment, Sanders is ahead in that position as well with Kamari Murphy in a close second. Jordan Allen and Malik Nichols are in a tie for third.
In the power forward polls, Murphy has the lead barely over 6'5" Terry Brutus from L.I. Lutheran with Edson Avila from Thomas Jefferson Campus in the hunt as well.
The poll will continue until we announce our Top Ten on November 1st. Until then, if you haven't already voted for who you feel is the best player at each position, what are you waiting for?
