The NBA Top 100 Camp

The prestigious NBA Top 100 Camp in Charlottesvilles, Va will begin this June 17-21st. This five-day event is run by the NBA Players Association, and legitimate NBA hopefuls are invited. Every summer the NBA Association invites only the elite top high school players with NBA potential to a five day camp at the University of Virginia. Every summer for the past 12 years current and former NBA stars attend the camp to counsel campers on how to make their hoop dreams a reality through NBA training techniques.
The Top 100 Camp is composed of experts that mentor and lay a solid foundation for success both on and off the court. The topics that are discussed range from basketball instruction, games, interviewing techniques, pitfalls like legal issues, drug abuse, and careers after basketball. Beyond the presentation, the camper's parents receive assistance in their son's career. There are daily seminars that focus on recruitment issues, peer pressure, nutrition, S.A.T. preparation, NCAA rules, goal setting and stress management. Here a complete list of the camp invitees for 2009.
