On February 16th and 17th the four boroughs in New York City played for bragging rights and a higher seed in the PSAL Championship.

The Borough Championships are always hard fought highly contested events and this year was no different.
In the first match-up, which occurred on Saturday the 16th it, was Brooklyn's turn at bat as the NYCHoops #1 ranked Abraham Lincoln Railsplitters faced off against the Orange Wave of Thomas Jefferson. The Orange wave with Keith Spellman had upset Boys & Girls High School in the round before. Now they face Lincoln with junior phenom Lance Stephenson.
The second game, which was on the following day, featured teams from the Bronx. The unranked Wings Academy Wings with Dashaun Wiggins were out to prove that they were better than the #8 ranked John F. Kennedy Knights with their offensive weapon, Kadeem Nicholas.
The borough of Manhattan was up next as the Wadleigh Tigers with highflying senior, Curtis Loving battled Frederick Douglass Academy. This game was about respect.
The finale featured two teams from Queens, which was the host borough of Sunday's game, which were played at St. John's University. This game featured the #10 ranked Cardozo Judges, with Iona-bound Trinity Fields and their archrivals the Campus Magnet Bulldogs with the scoring machine, Mennon Chavis. The Bulldogs have had Cardozo number all season long defeating them in both match-up. However, this was for all the marbles
