Panthers annihilate R.A.I.D.E.R.S.
As the Panthers proceeded to gear up for the upcoming season at the Spring Fling at Rutgers in Jersey on Friday, their annihilation of the R.A.I.D.E.R.S. seemed more like a Spring Break as they coasted to victory 64-33.
The NY Panthers would come out hard and furious as their two forwards Kevin Parrom and Omari Lawrence pushed the ball in the typical St. Raymond fashion they are accustomed to, quickly gaining a 12-7 advantage over the Allen Iverson's R.A.I.D.E.R.S. out of Philly.

William Williams, a junior out of Mt. Saint Michael, was an effective point guard, distributing the rock, giving his shooting guard Winston Graham the ball with excellent looks at the basket for the Panthers.
R.A.I.D.E.R.S. undersized point guard H.J. Gaskins was smothered by the Panthers defense as the lead quickly increased to 23 off a lay-up by young freshman point guard Sterling Gibbs.
Coming out of a timeout, Andre Wilburn and Kasheef Fortus would score back to back as the R.A.I.D.E.R.S. finally picked up the intensity though still down by 40-22 as the half ended.
Hofstra-bound Chaz Williams, a late arrival for the Panthers, was inserted into the lineup to start the second half.
Two quick assists from C. Williams to big man Armand Thomas of Lehman and Kevin Parrom and the Panthers lead ballooned back up to 22.
Travis Robinson and Fortus would provide some offense for the R.A.I.D.E.R.S. but the extra spark provided by Bishop Ford star C. Williams pushed the Panthers lead even higher.
While the R.A.I.D.E.R.S. never gave up, they were simply overmatched by a potent Panthers line-up that simply used them as a tune-up.
Sophomore Mike Poole of St. Benedict would be the high scorer with 13 points as the Panthers had a balanced offensive attack from start to finish.
