Big Apple Basketball is hosting the 5th Annual Big Apple Basketball Invitational, Saturday, January 19 and Monday, January 21 (MLK Day) at Baruch College in Manhattan.

The event will feature 20 of the top NY area high schools, along with premier high schools and prep schools from around the country.

Marquee players include: Tyreke Evans - American Christian, uncommitted (nations #1 senior!); Queens product, Devin Ebanks (St. Thomas More - Indiana); Patrick Jackson (Boys and Girls - Rutgers); Terrence Jennings (Notre Dame Prep - Louisville); twins Marcus and Markieff Morris (Apex - Kansas); Trinity Fields (Cardozo - Iona); Allan Chaney (New London - Florida); Kris Joseph (Archbishop Carroll - Syracuse); former local stars, Melquan Bolding

(Louisville) and James Southerland (Syracuse) - both attending Notre Dame Prep; Yves Jules (Canarsie - Hofstra); Bilal Dixon (Queen of Peace - Providence); Lance Goulbourne (Hun - Vanderbilt); Jarrett Mann (Blair - Stanford); former Rice standout, junior Lamont Jones (American Christian - Louisville); Dalton Pepper (Pennsbury - nationally ranked junior); and the nation's #1 sophomore, 6'10 Jeremy Tyler (San Diego), who posted 25 points, 16 rebounds and five blocks versus Holy Cross last year as a 15 year old freshman!...along with MANY OTHER senior and underclassmen stars!
