Naya Williams Signs LOI

Naya Williams, a New Rochelle resident, senior point guard for The Masters School Varsity Girls basketball team and a member of The Westchester Hoopers AAU Girls travel basketball program signed her National Letter of Intent to play College basketball on a full scholarship to The University of Virginia's College @ Wise, a prominent D2 school in Wise, Virginia.

Naya is the All-Time Leading scorer in the Masters School history with 1,835 points, 500 steals, and 300 assists in 4 years.

Naya explored her options and upon taking a 10 hour drive with her parents to visit UVA@Wise in the Mountains of Virginia, she saw a beautiful brand new campus, that has a great academic history, facilities, and two great coaches: Head coach; Kristin Kuzman, and Asst. Renee Renz.

They were looking for a tough NYC point guard, who can score, pass, play defense, and be a leader on the floor, and Naya Williams was there first priority on the list in her recruiting class for 2014.

Upon visiting Naya loves the College, and the fact that the school has a football team. Naya plans to major in Nursing. The entire Masters School, coaches players, students, friends, and family wish her the very best for her bright future.
