KYDA to run camp for younger players

Keep Your Dreams Alive, Inc. is hosting a basketball camp every Wednesday at Fordham University starting on July 2-August 20th 7pm-9pm.
The elementary and junior high school event will focus on fundamentals, conditioning and agility.

Coach Oz Cross spoke about the program saying, "For ten years we have prepared kids for high school and the next level. Just teaching good basketball skills is only part of the camp. Teaching, the kids that being a great student-athlete is most important in their development."
Cross is also head coach of number four-ranked AAU team the NY Panthers, (31-11). Cross lead his Panthers to second place in Spring Fling, 5-1 Pittsburgh Jam Fest, 3-2 at Providence Jam Fest, 3-1 in IS8 ,4-1 in GBOA East,3-1 in TOC losing in 1st round, 2-1 at Rumble in the Bronx & 1-1 in playoffs defeating LA Dream Team.
The KYDA alumni members: Omari Lawrence, Kevin Parrom, Durand Scott, Chris Fouch, and Justin Burrell.
Camp Coaches: Oz Cross, Victor Hall, Ron Dennis, Kevin Draughon, and Terrence Williams.
The Junior High School camp is comprised of three groups:
1st-3rd grade NIT team
4th-6th grade NCAA team
7th-8th grade NBA team
Each team will go through scrimmages, drills, passing, shooting, defense, and offense skills.
