Hills West Outlasts All Hallows

Often times, Long Island teams get the short end of the stick when competing against New York City teams evidenced by St. Doms losing on Saturday in the Big Apple Basketball Invitational.
However, when a fully loaded Half Hollow Hills of Dix Hills comes up against All Hallows of the Bronx the tables were turned on Monday as Half Hills handedly defeats All Hallows 57 - 46

Albeit that All Hallows was without two of their starters, Shane Southwell and Devon Collier, Hills West still had an impressive showing, which put naysayer's at bay. Half Hills touts a talented 6'7" sophomore guard in Tobias Harris that shot 11 for 22 scoring a game high 27 points which included 2 steals and 7 rebounds.
While All Hallows kept it close in the first quarter taking the lead twice and tying twice, Half Hill edge ahead by half time by eight points.
Sophomore forward Tevin Campbell kept All Hallows in within striking range but the combination of Harris and 5'8" senior guard Will Hennep was simply too much for the short-handed All Hallows team.
For the win Tobias Harris would receive the MVP for Half Hollow Hills West while Tevin Williams would receive the sportsmanship award for All Hallows scoring a team high 18 points. Will Hennep would add 11 points while junior guard Rashawn Stores contributed 14 points for his All Hallows team.
