High School produces its first D1 athlete

Blessed Sacrament 6'3" Senior Guard, Jhared Hall, made his commitment official this Thursday among family and friends. Hall stated, "I will attend Loyola Maryland on a full scholarship.
I started with a scholarship at Blessed Sacrament that allowed me to accomplish my goals. After, my mom passed away my Aunt took me into her home and raised me to be a good man. I would like to thank my godfather, and my basketball father and Uncle Lamont Watkins. I would also like to thank my coach for blossoming me, and adding to my skills."
Hall is a late bloomer to the basketball; he did not in start his basketball career until his sophomore year. This commitment is special too for Blessed Sacrament, Hall is the first D1 College bound senior in the schools history.
Hall season has ended with the Cardinals but continues to play for the Metro Hawks during the summer. The Hawks recently played in a CYP All-Star game that had top players Sylven Landesberg, Kevin Jones, Mookie Jones, Tony Taylor, Sean Kilpatrick, and Sherrod Wright. During the game Hall nailed a three to increase Metro Hawks the lead to 11 with 2 minutes left in the game for the win.
