Harris Silences Rumor

Slowly establishing his presence on the AAU circuit this summer, Tyler Harris has picked up quite a few offers but the rising senior has also picked up a rumor.

Recently, speculation of the Harris's imminent transfer has started to emerge. NYCHoops.net went to the source regarding the buzz.

Currently, Harris attends Half Hollows Hills West HS in Dix Hills, NY and with the departure of his brother, Tobias Harris to Tennessee has sparked a recent buzz that the younger brother might transfer to St. Benedicts in New Jersey. NYCHoops.net spoke with Harris's father, Torrel Harris Sr., asking if there was any truth to this new rumor. Harris, Sr. responded unequivocally via text, "No, he's staying at Half Hollow Hills. Tyler goes to Hills West."

On the road, Harris held his own with his Albany City Rocks AAU team and currently has offers from Virginia Tech, South Florida, Connecticut, Siena, Hofstra, Wisconsin, Washington, Boston College, Duquesne, Iowa, Fordham, Seton Hall and Tennessee.

Harris will return to play with his Half Hollows Hills team this season as he looks to showcase his own style.
