The Barbot Twins (Taryn and Taylor) out of St. Mary’s High School are very talented basketball players. They are exceptional guards with mind-blowing ball handling skills and they can shoot the ball amazingly well. Also known as the Tornado Twins, both girls can speed their way to the basket and score even in busy areas of the court. They also can play defense too, as they both know how to protect their lanes on the court.
Taryn stands at 5’7” and she is very fast and sharp out on the court. Known as one half of the tornado twins, she works extremely tough on both sides of the court. She also creates a decent amount of second chances for the team. Taryn is also a nightmare to defend since she is already in the paint once a shot is off.
The dynamic point guard is also stout at attacking the rim and can finish inside the basket. Along with her sister, she is a hard worker and listens to what her coaches tells her to do. In addition, her teammates like her attitude and behavior and look up to her as a player. She accomplishes everything her team needs her to do.
As for Taylor, she too stands at 5’7” and is an aggressive point guard who is full of energy on the floor. She is also very strong on defense and is the other half of the “tornado twins.” She likes to play on the ball-pressure defense which makes her opponents uncomfortable and turn the ball over. Additionally, she also talks while on defense and makes sure her teammates are playing their roles.
The speedy point guard’s offense is amazing. Her hangtime and adaptability on defense makes her a force inside. She will go right through defenders who are breaking down on the play. Both girls are great at this, but Taylor likes to encourage her teammates to be ready every single day in pursuit of winning a game, while doing her part on both ends of the court.
The twins have committed to the College at Charleston.
