Five-Star Camp All-Star Game Highlights

NEW YORK, NY - The finale of the Five-Star Super Session Camp took place on Sunday at Basketball City with an All-Star Game. The teams were selected from the hundreds of participants in the storied event with a rich history. In a high energy game with a high field goal percentage, the Black team overwhelmed the White team, 98-78.
The Black team took an early lead as 6'4" Christian Lutete showed his range and ability to get himself open. Steve Whitley, who won the playoffs MVP and rebound award, also helped to secure a 10 point advantage for the Black team to start the second quarter.
The White team sought to close the gap as Kevin Daniels and Terry Harris knocked down shots from the perimeter but 15 first half points by Lutete kept the Black team ahead, 47-39 at the midway point.
Joshua Colon displayed endless range on his jump-shot as the Black team inched further and further away. Lutete was unstoppable as the White team sunk into 13 point hole as the teams began the final quarter.
Lutete confirmed his game MVP status, as the Black team would win by 20 points, scoring a game high 34 points. Colon contributed 14 points to the cause. Harris was high man for the White team with 16 points while Daniels added 14 points.
