While the scrimmage between NYCHoops #4 ranked Christ the King (CHSAA) and #10 ranked Brooklyn Collegiate (PSAL) wasn't about winning or losing, it gave us a glimpse at what each is working with. Here are recaps of all six sets.
SET ONE
Christ the King opened the set with a 9-0 run as Travis Atson and Rawle Alkins scored in transition. 6'2" senior Kharil Jacobs finally scored for Brooklyn Collegiate but the Royals kept pushing the tempo, increasing their lead to 13-2 as Tahleek Weekes scored on a fast break.
Brooklyn Collegiate was definitely flustered as 7'0" Adonis Dela Rosa pounded them in the paint. Even with Davere Creighton putting up points, Christ the King would win the first of six sets.
