As the summer, months heat up many student-athletes, and pro-athletes are looking for a place to improve. The BX is one of the places that students of the game go when they want to prepare physically for the upcoming season.
The BX staff offers year round programs for high school and college bound athletes looking to improve. The over all goal of each BX program is to develop a solid foundation both mentally and physically concerning body training. Every player that leaves the BX program is prepared for the transition into the next level may it be college, or a pro team.
This spring BX owners Rob Baxter and Dominic Zanot completed intense workouts with Syracuse bound Mookie Jones, West Virginia commit Kevin Jones, George Washington's Tony Taylor, and Mount Vernon's Class of 2009 Jordan Lessane.
Pro level players that participated were NBA hopeful players Russell Carter, and Jawann McClellan. The weight room workouts are at BX Strength & Speed facility in Mamaroneck, NY. The basketball sessions were at Hooperstown in Mount Vernon, NY.
