Brianna Jones picks ACC School

Considered one of the top girl's prospects not just in the NY area, but in the country, 5'11" wing Brianna Jones (North Babylon '15) has been doing special things on the court for three years now for the Bulldogs.
She has garnered numerous personal accomplishments, and was highly recruited by many of the top college programs from across the country, but on Monday afternoon, Jones decided to end her recruitment and make her decision.

After averaging 17 points and 12 rebounds a game this year for the Lady Bulldogs, Jones became even more in demand by college coaches, but she ended up choosing a school that has been on her for a long time in Louisville.
The Cardinals offered Jones just over a year ago, and they clearly saw just how much potential and upside the junior has.
Jones scored over 25 points, 6 times this season, and was in double digit rebound all but 4 games this year, helping lead North Babylon to a 20-2 record, falling just short of the Suffolk Class "AA" crown, losing in the championship game to Sachem East.
She did score he 1,000th career high school point this year in early February in a game against Copiague, and she is on pace to score over 1,500 points before she leaves and heads off to Louisville after next season.
A star in the AAU circuit for the national power Philly Belles, Jones will look to continue building on her game this summer, just without the pressures of having to worry about where she will be going to school in a year's time.
The goal is strictly now to win the coveted Suffolk "AA" title next year, and help take North Babylon as deep into states as possible, along with garnering as many personal accolades as she can, and with her inside/outside abilities, there is no doubt she will be a force to reckon with in her upcoming senior year, along with the 4 years after that when she suits up for the Cardinals of Louisville.
