B.A.B. Invitational Tips with Top Talent

Jermaine Lawrence, Aquille Carr & Kentan Facey Highlight Talented Field
New York, NY - Big Apple Basketball will host the 10th Annual Big Apple Basketball Invitational on Saturday, January 19 and Monday, January 21, 2013 at Baruch College in New York City. The invitational features 15 top high school and prep school teams from New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Maryland, Washington DC, Virginia and Vermont.
The invitational will feature New York City schools, South Shore, Thomas Jefferson, Curtis, Wings and Bayside; along with Pope John XXIII (New Jersey), Princeton Day Academy, (Maryland), Coolidge (Washington DC), St. Frances Academy (Maryland), Massanutten Military Academy (Virginia), Vermont Academy (Vermont), Princeton Day School (New Jersey), East Boston (Massachusetts), Long Island Lutheran (Long Island), and Half Hollows Hills West (Long Island).
Notable players include: Jermaine Lawrence (Top 20 senior nationally), Kentan Facey (Long Island Lutheran - committed to UConn), Aquille Carr (Princeton Day Academy - Seton Hall), Davon Reed (Princeton Day School - Miami), Terrence Samuel (South Shore - UConn), Frank Mason (Massanutten Military Academy - Miami), Hassan Martin (Curtis - Rhode Island) and Daquien McNeil (Vermont Academy - Florida International); along with several other nationally ranked seniors and juniors.
Locally, South Shore, Thomas Jefferson, Curtis and Wings are all expected to be frontrunners for the New York Public School city championship.
