B.A.B. Invitational MLK Weekend

9th Annual BAB Invitational Features Top HS Talent in Nation
Big Apple Basketball will host the 9th Annual Big Apple Basketball Invitational on Saturday, January 14 and Monday, January 16, 2012 at Baruch College in New York City. The invitational features 13 top high school and prep school teams from New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

The invitational will feature New York City schools, Abraham Lincoln, South Shore, Benjamin Cardozo, Wings and Bayside; along with Mount Vernon High (Mount Vernon, New York), New London, (Connecticut), Robert Vaux (Pennsylvania), Notre Dame Prep (Massachusetts), Academy of the New Church (Pennsylvania), Long Island Lutheran (Long Island), Princeton Day School (New Jersey), and St. Thomas More (Connecticut).
Notable All-American players include Kris Dunn (New London High - committed to Providence), and Notre Dame Prep trio, Adonis Filer (committed to Clemson), Steve Adams (committed to Pittsburgh) and Myles Davis (committed to Xavier); along with several other nationally ranked seniors and juniors.
Former participants in the BAB Invitational include: Michael Beasley (Minnesota Timberwolves); Kemba Walker (Charlotte Bobcats); Brandon Knight (Detroit Pistons); Jonny Flynn (Houston Rockets); Sundiata Gaines (New Jersey Nets); Isaiah Thomas (Sacramento Kings); Devin Ebanks (L.A. Lakers); Danny Green (San Antonio Spurs); Markieff Morris (Phoenix Suns); Marcus Morris (Houston Rockets); Tobias Harris (Milwaukee Bucks); Derrick Caracter (Los Angeles Lakers); Lance Stephenson (Indiana Pacers); Lazar Hayward (Oklahoma City Thunder); and Jeremy Tyler (Golden State Warriors).
