2012 Big Strick Classic

This summer, the Big Strick Classic (formerly the Franchise Classic) has emerged and promises to be a summer sizzler.

The event will honor John Strickland (1972-2010) who will always be one of the most beloved streetball legends to hit the NYC asphalt.
Last year's event featured Kyle Anderson, Omar Calhoun, Daniel Dingle, Savon Goodman, Nkereuwem Okoro, Jevon Thomas, Daiquan Walker, Jermaine Lawrence, Chris McCullough, and Isaiah Whitehead all on Team NY. Team NY faced Team USA featured players Archie Goodwin, Shaquille Goodwin, Martavious Newby, Greg McClinton, Malik Price-Martin, Chris Walker and KeVaughn Allen.
This year on August 11th, the Big Strick Classic will be held at Nat Holman Gym at City College in Manhattan at 5:30pm. The free event will feature players are Team New York Isaiah Whitehead, Chris McCullough, Dakari Johnson, Terrence Samuel, Anthony Barber, Noah Vonleh, Troy Williams, Jaren Sina, Emmanuel Mudiay, and Jared Terrell. Coaches Dwayne "Tiny" Morton and Dave Britton. Team USA players will be Andrew Wiggins, Andrew Harrison, Jabari Bird, Robert Hubbs, Tyler Ennis, Sindarius Thornwell, Jordan Mickey, Marcus Lovett, Jr, and Malik Price Martin. Coaches Aaron Harrison and Tony McIntyre.
