Will Jordan Brands Suburban Team Show n Prove

There has been a long standing debate as to who is better. Is it the City or is it the Suburbs? The Jordan Brand Classic Regional Game on Saturday April 19th at 6:30pm EST will put the issue to rest as it will be the City vs. Suburbs. Here are the profiles of the Suburban All-Star Team.

Jiovanny Fontan
Height: 5-11 • Weight: 160 • Position: Point Guard •
St. Anthony High School • Jersey City, NJ • College: Fordham
Jiovanny Fontan is an excellent ball handler with a great feel for the game. The 5'11 point guard is exceptional at getting into the lane, often finding post players for easy baskets. He makes smart decisions in traffic that often lead to easy points. Jiovanny has a knack for making big plays in big moments. He is consistent in knocking down the mid-range jumper and can also step out and drain the three. Fontan will be a force next season at Fordham University.
Kevin Jones
Height: 6-8 • Weight: 200 • Position: Power Forward •
Mount Vernon High School • Mount Vernon, NY • College: West Virginia
Kevin Jones is an explosive player that comes from a high school program with a rich tradition of winning. He is a hard working forward that can put the ball on the floor, shoot the outside shot or go inside the lane. Jones has started since he was a freshman and has led his team to back-to-back state titles. He will continue his success in the Big East at the University of West Virginia.
Mookie Jones
Height: 6-6 • Weight: 190 • Position: Small Forward •
Peekskill High School • Peekskill, NJ • College: Syracuse
Mookie Jones is a long and athletic wing forward that just continuously improvs. He can handle the ball, is dangerous from long range and is at his best when running in the open court. He has a knack for finding the right spots for easy shots and he loves to play above the rim. Jones is a good rebounder who will be a big impact next season at Syracuse University.
Sean Kilpatrick
Height: 6-3 • Weight: 185 • Position: Shooting Guard •
White Plains High School • White Plains, NY • College: Undecided
Sean Kilpatrick has a game that has been compared to Cory Maggette in that he is a big, strong and physical shooting guard that can flat out score. Kilpatrick loves to slash to the basket and draw contact, but he can also shoot the long-range shot. Even though he stand at only 6-3 he loves crashing the boards for put back dunks. He is undecided but has offers from St. John's, Kansas State, Wake Forest, Miami and Seton Hall, among other top schools.
Jarrett Mann
Height: 6-6 • Weight: 210 • Position: Small Forward •
Blair Academy • Blairstown, NJ • College: Stanford
Originally from Townsend, Delaware, Jarrett Mann has an incredible basketball IQ. He loves to get to the lane, draw contact and finish with a three-point play. He handles the ball well for a player his size and has great vision to find the open man and deliver passes. Mann has great potential and will be a threat next season for Stanford University.
Marcus Morris
Height: 6-9 • Weight: 210 • Position: Small Forward •
Apex Academy • Pennsauken, NJ • College: Kansas
Marcus Morris is a solid power forward that can hurt you in a number of ways. He can post up and score, as well as shoot the outside shot. Morris is also great on the boards and is a nightmare on the defensive end of the ball. He uses his long arms to block shots and has excellent lateral movement to defend smaller players. He will be a great fit for the University of Kansas program next season.
Markieff Morris
Height: 6-10 • Weight: 210 • Position: Center •
Apex Academy • Pennsauken, NJ • College: Kansas
Markieff Morris is the twin brother of fellow Jordan All-American Marcus Morris. Morris is a legit center that has the ability to impact a game at any time. He can pass, shoot and use an array of moves to score from the post. Morris can play the power forward position when needed but is at his best when playing the five. He will join his brother at the University of Kansas next season.
Jordan Theodore
Height: 6-1 • Weight: 175 • Position: Point Guard •
Paterson Catholic High School • Paterson, NJ • College: Seton Hall
Jordan Theodore is an excellent point guard with a great attitude. He loves to push the ball up the court and makes great decisions with the ball. Theodore's court vision and lock down defense is what makes him a special player. This season he led Paterson to the league and county championships with a record of 23-4. He will play for Bobby Gonzalez and Seton Hall University next year.
Quintrell Thomas
Height: 6-8 • Weight: 225 • Position: Power Forward •
St. Patrick High School • Elizabeth, NJ • College: Kansas
Quintrell Thomas plays with passion and tenacity on the court. He is a great rebounder and physical presence in the post. Thomas can step out and hit the 17-footer and is a strong finisher around the rim. He is outstanding at defending the post and helped lead his team to consecutive Tournament of Champions titles in his sophomore and junior years. He will attend the University of Kansas next season.
Desmond Wade
Height: 5-8 • Weight: 160 • Position: Point Guard •
Linden High School • Linden, NJ • College: Houston
Desmond Wade is a great floor leader and a tough point guard with tremendous heart. He loves to push the tempo and is one of the quickest players in the 2008 class. Wade is an excellent shooter from the outside and is also automatic from the free throw line. As a four-year starter he led Linden to a 103-20 record that included four conference, one county and two section and two state championships. Wade will be a great addition to the University of Houston roster next season.
Travon Woodall
Height: 6-0 • Weight: 170 • Position: Point Guard •
St. Anthony High School • Jersey City, NJ • College: Pittsburgh
One of the best ball handlers in his class, Travon Woodall is great at getting to the lane and finishing in traffic. He loves to pull up for mid-range jumpers and is excellent at running the break. Woodall was a key member on St. Anthony's 32-0 season that included a coveted Tournament of Champions victory. He is a great competitor and will take his aggressive style of play to one of the top Big East programs next season at the University of Pittsburgh.
