When the clock hit midnight on June 14th, it started a recruiting domino effect. The morning allowed college coaches to start contacting prospects in the 2026 class. The phones were ringing off the hook, especially in New York.
Let’s take a look at two prospects who are blowing up fast, and we told you to look out for this offseason. First is 6’9” Wing Adonis Ratliff (Archbishop Stepinac HS, NY ‘26) who just a few hours ago received a brand new offer to UCF. The Knights join Manhattan, St. Bonaventure, and Bryant on his growing list. As they all look to make a serious impression on him.
We’ve learned that Boston College, Rhode Island, Kent State, UMass, and ODU have also been in contact. His upside could be one of the best in the class; his offensive skillset is sensational. He is getting more comfortable with the ball in his hands and is making more plays. Ratliff should start popping up on some lists, and he should start to get into the top 100 nationally.
Our next featured athlete would be his brother, 6’9” Wing Darius Ratliff Stepinac ‘26 who is also heating up very quickly. He has a bit of a different skillset than his twin, as he focuses more on threes, rebounding, and interior defense. The Stepinac wing has had a big day as he collected new offers to Northern Illinois, Old Dominion, and UCF. We heard Pepperdine has been in contact as well, and we expect more programs to join the list by the end of the day. Darius has a tremendous ceiling, he could be an elite 3&D prospect,. We are so excited to see him get on the court for the Crusaders as they look to go back-to-back.
