EWING, NJ - With over 700 players from all over the country competing for the spotlight, often times it is difficult for an athlete to get the attention of college coaches.

At the Hoop Group Elite Camp at the College of New Jersey, a 6'8" junior did just that.
According to Lamar Barrett, director of the Elite Camp, Anali Okoloji is a big man who is under the radar saying, "Anoli has a solid body and shoots well from the perimeter for a big man."
Barret would go on to say, "Okoloji (a junior at Benjamin Banneker Academy in Brooklyn, NY) has a good mid-range game, consistently knocking down shots from 15 – 17 feet."
Coach Jared Grasso from Fordham University was watching another player play on Monday morning and noticed Okoloji play according to Barrett.
"I asked him (Grasso), 'Are you recruiting this kid' and he said no. After seeing Okoloji play, Grasso said 'I am now.'" says Barrett.
Okoloji is a hard worker who is constantly working on improving his game. Just from his performance at the Hoop Group Elite Camp, he has recent interest from Fordham, Seton Hall and LaSalle as his list grows.
