NYCHoops.net Top Ten NYC Teams (Week 10 Recap)

While the top half of the Top Ten remained stable, there were some shake-ups in the bottom half of our rankings with a new face bogarting its way into the rankings for the first time. Here’s how and why it went down as the regular season is starting to make its last hoo-rahs.

1) SOUTH SHORE (16 – 3) – The Vikings kept it moving last week with a predictable league win against unranked Boys & Girls and remains on top of the heap. Such is the case the Panthers, a PSAL Class “AA” squad out of Harlem that was previous unranked and flying below the radar like a stealth fighter. Last week T.M.A. with inspired play by Jaylen Denny '19 and George Varmah '19 bum rushed the Top Ten by smashing previous ranked Wing Academy and topping ranked Curtis the day after during the finale of the Brown vs Board of Ed. Classic. The Panthers have one league game this week against Samuel Gompers (Previous Ranking: NR)
