It was a good day for all the New York team except for one as the Nike Peach Jam got underway on Wednesday evening in South Augusta, SC. Here are brief recaps
NY Lightning Takes Down Team Melo (MD), 78 -72

Going up against a hard charging Team Melo, the NY Lightning won its opening game at Peach Jam. Junub Choul ‘18 and Posh Alexander ‘20 paced the Lightning with 16 points and 14 points respectively.
Albany City Rocks top NJ Playaz, 67-53

Players to Watch – Nahziah Carter: 12.7 points, 4.0 rebounds | Buddy Boeheim: 12.2 points, 3.2 rebounds | Jeenathan Williams: 11.1 points, 3.1 rebounds | Isaiah Stewart: 11.0 points, 8.4 rebounds | Joseph Girard III: 10.4 points.
An impressive win for the upstate squad as they bested their tri-state neighbor. Buddy Boeheim ‘18 was the offensive juggernaut for City Rocks with 19 points while Isaiah Stewart controlled the boards with 7 rebounds to go with his 10 points.
PSA Cardinals tank against Bradley Beal Elite (MO), 92-75
Overall Record: 11 - 6
Player to Watch: Cole Anthony: 16.3 points, 6.8 assists.
Although Cole Anthony ‘19 put forth a 34-point explosion, it would not be enough as the Bradley Beal Elite dominated PSA Cardinals en route to a 17-point win. Down 16 points at the half and beaten on the boards throughout the game, the Cardinals could only manage to exchange baskets with the Missouri team in the second half.
