Jordan Brands City Team Gets Ready to Rumble

New York's top ballers will once again square off in a city vs. suburbs showdown as part of the Jordan Brand Classic on Saturday April 19th at 6:30pm. The players will be heading to some of the top college programs in the country.
As the Jordan Brand Classic Regional Game draws near here are profiles of the City Team.

THE CITY ALL-STARS
Darryl "Truck" Bryant
Height: 6-2 • Weight: 180 • Position: Point Guard •
St. Raymond High School Bronx, NY • College: West Virginia
Darryl Bryant is a physical guard that has the ability to play the point guard and shooting guard position. He excels at shooting the mid-range jumper and creating his own shot off the dribble. Bryant loves to use his quick first step to get to the lane and distribute the ball to his teammates. He uses his strength to ward off defenders and finishes in traffic with ease. Bryant will fit in perfectly with Bob Huggins' system at West Virginia next season.
Bilal Dixon
Height: 6-9 • Weight: 230 • Position: Forward •
Queen of Peace High School • North Arlington, NJ • College: Providence
Bilal Dixon is a great combination of size, strength, and athleticism. He has great footwork with his post moves, but can also face up his defender and shoot from mid-range with consistency. Dixon runs the floor well and consistently makes himself available for passes and easy buckets in the lane. He is a strong finisher that throws down monster dunks when around the rim. His strength helps him be aggressive on the boards which leads to numerous free throw attempts. He has chosen to showcase his talent in the Big East next year at Providence.
Trinity Fields
Height: 6-2 • Weight: 180 • Position: Point Guard •
Cardozo High School • Bayside, NY • College: Iona
Trinity Fields shows great floor leadership and plays with passion at all times. He uses his quickness to get the lane, utilizes teammates well and is the definition of a true point guard. Fields controls the ball and directs his teammates to get the ball to the right person at the right time. He is also a very effective shooter that averaged 18 points, six rebounds and six assists per game this season. Fields, who led Cardozo to 18-0 record in the regular season, will provide a big spark on the offensive end next season at Iona University.
Chris Fouch
Height: 6-2 • Weight: 175 • Position: Shooting Guard •
Rice High School • Harlem, NY • College: Drexel
Chris Fouch is considered one of the best shooters in the class of 2008. He is comfortable shooting from anywhere on the court with consistently and can create his own shot. His shooting touch is just part of his triple threat, as he is great at getting to the basket and finishing in traffic. Fouch also has great quickness and presence on the defensive side of the ball. He will put his scoring ability on display next year at Drexel University,
Blaise Ffrench
Height: 6-1 • Weight: 185 • Position: Point Guard •
Holy Cross High School •Flushing, NY • College: University of Texas-El Paso
Blaise Ffrench is an exceptional guard, leading one of the top programs in the country. He is an excellent floor leader that does a little bit of everything very well. Ffrench is a deadly shooter from anywhere on the court, especially from beyond the arc where he shot 40%. His quickness allows him to get to the lane and distribute the ball as well as finish in traffic. He is a fierce on and off the ball defender that loves to play in the passing lanes. Ffrench was undecided and while getting looks from Manhattan, Columbia and Long Island University decided at the Jordan Brand Classic Regional practice that he was going to the University of Texas-El Paso.
Lance Goulbourne
Height: 6-7 • Height: 215 • Position: Small Forward •
The Hun School • Princeton, NJ • College: Vanderbilt
Lance Goulbourne is an agile small forward that creates match up problems all over the court. He is a great jump-shooter from long range and is a high flying finisher. Goulbourne also uses his quick first step to blow past defenders and create easy shots. Because of his height, he can take other small forwards to the post and score with his back to the basket. Goulbourne is a fearless defender who is so versatile he can guard anyone. He will be a major factor in the Vanderbilt University program next year.
Justin Greene
Height: 6-7 • Weight: 200 • Position: Forward •
Abraham Lincoln High School • Brooklyn, NY • College: Undecided
Justin Greene is a tough player that puts his team first. He does all the things that may not show up on the stat book, but can be the difference between a win and a loss. He can play with his back to the basket and is excellent on the offensive and defensive boards. Greene is an outstanding roll player but also showed he has the ability to take a game over when needed. He is undecided on his college choice for next season.
Patrick Jackson
Height: 6-6 • Weight: 190 • Position: Small Forward •
Boys & Girls High School • Brooklyn, NY • College: Rutgers
Patrick Jackson is a strong, physical player that has the ability to score from the outside or the post. His aggressiveness on both the offensive and defensive ends shows that size does not matter. Jackson's hard work made him the leader of the Boys and Girls High School team averaging 21 points and nine rebounds a game this season. Patrick will take his tough mentality and strong will to Rutgers University next fall.
Ryan Pearson
Height: 6-6 • Weight: 200 • Position: Small Forward •
Christ The King High School • Middle Village, NY • College: George Mason
Ryan Pearson helped lead one of the top programs in the country, Christ the King High School to a 22-6 record and a No. 25 national ranking. Pearson is a great competitor on the court as he rebounds and defends with the best of them. His offensive repertoire allows him to score in a number of ways as was best shown during his 40 point-game against St. Raymond's this season. Pearson will look to take his skills to the next level at George Mason University next season.
Kevin Phillip
Height: 6-7 • Weight: 200 • Position: Forward •
Bishop Loughlin High School • Bronx, NY • College: Drexel
Kevin Phillip is a long and athletic forward who can make an impact on a game in numerous ways. He runs the floor well, can put the ball on the floor and gets to the rim with ease. Phillip is a great rebounder that loves to play above the rim. He can also play with his back to the basket or shoot the mid-range jumper. Phillip was the MVP of the Prime Time Tour and will take his game to the next level at Drexel University.
Erving Walker
Height: 5-8 • Weight: 150 • Position: Point Guard •
Christ The King High School • Middle Village, NY • College: Florida
Erving Walker plays with a tremendous amount of heart. He is a director on the court and a true point guard as he thinks pass first always. Walker loves to distribute but can also put up big numbers in a hurry if needed. He showed his ability in a heated game against St. Raymond's earlier this season when he scored 19 of his 27 points in the fourth quarter to help lead his team to victory. Walker was praised by his coaches as one of the best at a school that produced point guards suck as Eric Barkley and Speedy Claxton. He will play next year at the University of Florida.
