The national show called "Hoops High" will feature recruiting news as well as cover top tournaments.
"We've already covered the HoopHall Classic [for SiriusXM] and most recently, the McDonald All-American Games in Chicago, both to rave reviews," said the President of The HSB Network, Maurice Wingate. "A national talk show was just the natural progression."
While the show's tournament coverage is play-by-play and color commentary, the weekly show will also include engaging conversations and debate with listeners as well as with special guests.
For the inaugural broadcast on Friday June 1st, guests will include San Antonio Spurs star Danny Green (St. Mary's HS), top 2014 prospect Isaiah Whitehead, UCLA-bound top prospect Tony Parker from Georgia, legendary high school coach Bob Hurley from St. Anthony HS (NJ) and more.
In addition, there will be a discussion on AAU basketball and the recent changes in recruiting regulations.
The iS8/Nike tournament is chock-filled with top tier talent and Hoops High will be there for play-by-play and color commentary which will also air on SiriusXM Radio
The hosts for the shows will be Wingate along with Lance Medow and the inaugural broadcast will air from 10pm - 12 midnight EST on Friday June 1st on SiriusXM (College Sports Network) Channel 91.
