The June 15th date officially begins the recruitment process for the 2026 class. However, NYC has a 2027 prospect who seems different from the rest. We are talking about 6’0” PG Anderson Diaz (St. Raymond HS, NY ’27) who was sensational this past season for the Ravens and has continued his momentum to the spring. While the chaos ensues in 2026 Diaz collected a new offer to Fordham.
His off-season has been terrific so far as he has been selected as a top performer in several events for the New York Rens. He’s making more shots, getting anywhere he wants, dropping off impressive dimes and his three-point range is getting crazy. His handle might be the best in the class. He understands angles to help him finish, absorbs contact, gets to the line and definitely is an alpha on the court.
The Rams join St. John’s and Hampton as his early suitors and the interest is rapidly growing. Diaz just picked up an invite to Nike’s Elite 100 camp and has even gotten national experience playing on the Dominican Republic National team. His stock is hot, his game is serious, his potential is off the charts and he’s just getting started. We are beyond excited to see where Diaz lands on the rankings when they start to come out.
