CHICAGO, Ill. - McDonald's? has announced its list of high school seniors who have been nominated to play in the 2013 McDonald's All American? Games, taking place on April 3 at Chicago's United Center.

The final roster of 24 boys and 24 girls who will be selected to play in the 2013 Games will be announced during the McDonald's All American Games Selection Show on ESPNU on February 14 at 5:00 p.m. ET.

More than 800 players from 39 states and the District of Columbia were nominated for the 2013 McDonald's All American Games. Texas boasts the highest number of nominees (80), followed by Oklahoma (73), Iowa (60), California (59) and Virginia (44). Players were nominated by high school coaches, athletic directors, principals and members of the McDonald's All American Games Selection Committee. "This list of McDonald's All American Games Nominees represents the finest prep talent in the country, and we are privileged to acknowledge them for their career success on the court, in the classroom and in the community," said Morgan Wootten, McDonald's All American Games Selection Committee Chairman. "Today we celebrate these young players, and we look forward to selecting the final team next month."

2013 McDonald's All American Games Tickets Available January 19

Tickets for the 2013 McDonald's All American Games will be available beginning January 19 at 11:00 a.m. CT. Tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster or charge-by-phone at 1-866-909-GAME. Ticket prices start as low as $10, and are also available in a popular family four-pack which includes four tickets, four soft drinks and four hot dogs - all for $53. Parking is free the night of the Games.

"If it's springtime, then the best high school basketball players are in Chicago for the McDonald's All American Games," " said Douglas Freeland, director of the McDonald's All American Games. "So whether you're rooting for your hometown hero, college recruit or taking in the experience with your family, this annual basketball rite of passage is a can't miss event."

Net proceeds from the Games will benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities? (RMHC?). The Games have raised more than $10 million for RMHC since 1978.

The 36th Annual Boys Game will tip-off on Wednesday, April 3 at 8:30 p.m. CT from Chicago's United Center and will be broadcast on ESPN. Immediately preceding the Boys Game will be the 12th Annual Girls Game, which tips-off at 6 p.m. CT and will be broadcast live on ESPNU.


The High School Basketball Network (NYCHoops.net) will broadcast the event live on SiriusXM Radio
