When Florida first accepted a commitment from Travon Van over the summer it may have come across to some as sort of a 'thank you' to his high school head coach, former UF Director of Football Operations Troy Starr instead of what it was, the Gators landing a much sought after prospect. It wasn't until after his high school highlight tape was made available that the Gator Nation saw what they were getting in Van.
